Riverstone Lodge was built in 2016 with a vision of creating a modern, welcoming retreat in one of Scotland’s most historic landscapes. Its name reflects the very essence of Perth: “River” for the majestic River Tay, which winds through the heart of the city, and “Stone” for the legendary Stone of Destiny - the ancient coronation stone of Scottish kings, steeped in centuries of tradition and symbolism.

Today, Riverstone Lodge sits proudly within the picturesque grounds of Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse, where Scottish history was shaped and generations of monarchs were crowned. It’s a location that blends natural beauty, royal heritage, and peaceful surroundings in a way few places can offer.

As a family-run business with over 30 years of experience in hospitality, we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels at home, with having a successful business for 12 years - nestled in the heart of Scone, Brown & Blacks bar and restaurant.
